Educational Leadership:
The process of enlisting and guiding the talents and energies of individuals to obtain skills and knowledge to achieve common learning goals.
With tightening budgets and dwindling resources organizations are turning to new methods and processes to gain efficiencies. Whether you’re a civic leader working with the community, a manager in a nonprofit social service agency working with staff or constituent, or an academic administrator or educator, you are responsible for communication,
gaining consensus and assessing the effectiveness of the programs.
The Ed.D develops these skills through action-research projects within the your workplace
and community. NKU’s doctoral students are civic
leaders, higher education administrators and faculty, nonprofit managers, teachers and principals in the K—12 school systems.
